Diel is a single-hand clock that goes around once every 24 hours. You don't read "2:37 pm": you read how much of the day is left.
Any question, problem or idea: juanmcirco@gmail.com. We answer every message.
If you're reporting a problem, it helps a lot to include your iPhone model, your iOS version and exactly what happened.
Press and hold the Home Screen, tap the + button at the top left, search for Diel and pick a size.
That's on purpose. iOS doesn't let widgets update second by second, and it wouldn't be needed either: on a 24-hour dial, five minutes is 1.25 degrees. The discrete step is part of the idea.
Open Diel, tap the gear and grant calendar access. Then choose which calendars you want to see: they're grouped by account.
Yes. Diel reads the calendars you already have on your device. Add your Google account once in Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts, and it will show up in Diel's list like any other calendar.
It needs your location to know when the sun rises and sets where you are. Diel asks once, on first launch, and stores it on the device. If you said no, you can grant it later from the gear.
No. Neither your calendar, nor your location, nor your photos leave your phone. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics. The sun and moon calculations run on the device.
There's a regular 12-hour mode, with hour and minute hands, in Settings → Clock type.
Yes. Diel speaks Spanish, English and German. By default it uses your phone's language; you can change it at the top of Settings.
